Ok, this is ridiculous because it’s only May but I can’t wait for Christmas baking now! I think I will be purchasing another one or two of these. I have a feeling that it will be fantastic for truffles and gooey dough.
I have a kitchen full of silicone products so the Baker’s Mat is just a great addition to the collection. haha Seriously. My whisks, spatulas, colander, tongs, and oven mitts are all made (at least partly) of silicone!
So far I’ve tried the Baker’s Mat with biscuits, mini bagel pizzas, and chocolate chip cookies. It works as well as any parchment but I can reuse it! It also seems to help with our old crappy oven cooking food a little more evenly. (You know when one side of the pan of cookies is black and the other side is perfect. Annoying.) I’m thinking a bacon test is going to be necessary soon. (Mostly because I want bacon.)
It’s really easy to clean up too. I just rinse it off in warm water. It doesn’t take more than that (so far) but it is also dishwasher friendly.
